😊: The property is in a great location and has a lot of space. 😢: The booking wasn’t seamless, after I paid any question I asked was left unanswered. Check in is a nightmare and I had a call several times and wait 10 mins to be told the lock box is about 2 doors down. It doesn’t mention this on the 100s of check in emails you get. When we got in there were dead bugs on the floor. I took a shower and the bathroom flooded as the plug had not been unblocked when I called to say the plug was full of hair I was told I can clean it which I refused. They did send cleaners afterwards. Coffee machine didn’t work. The apartment itself was tired and needs an overhaul. Pillows were non existent and might as well been a pancake. The shower also continued to leak as the base isn’t tilteded and the doors don’t close. They ask you to take your rubbish out when you leave but no direction as to where to leave it. We didn’t use the apartment much so ok as a base but needs some TLC.

The kitchen is well-stocked, the furniture is cozy, and the overall layout is practical and welcoming. It’s clear some thought went into making the space functional for guests.. 😢: However, a major downside severely impacted our stay: the pervasive smell of old cigarette smoke throughout the entire apartment. Despite being listed as a non-smoking unit, the odor was immediately noticeable when we walked in and lingered in everything — the furniture, linens, curtains, and even our clothing. No amount of airing out helped. The issue seems to go beyond just this unit. Even if Le Bubbly – Apartment claims to be non-smoking, the smell appears to come from neighboring suites where smoking is constant. The shared ventilation or building layout likely allows the smoke to travel between units, making the "non-smoking" label misleading. Additionally, the hallways leading to the apartment are dark, gloomy, and also carry the same strong smoke smell. This made arriving and departing feel unpleasant and a bit claustrophobic. If you or anyone in your group suffers from asthma, allergies, or is sensitive to smoke, we strongly recommend avoiding this listing. The smell is not subtle — it's deeply ingrained and unavoidable. Le Bubbly – Apartment has potential with its space and amenities, but it desperately needs a professional deep cleaning and, more importantly, full transparency in its listing about the persistent smoke issue from neighboring units..

Le Bubbly "Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf hier. Fijne ligging, parkeren kan betaald op het pleintje in het centrum maar de parking net voordat je de straat in komt is goedkoper. Het is een fijn appartement en alles zo goed als nieuw. We vonden het aan de warme kant, hebben geslapen met alle ramen open. Dat zorgt natuurlijk voor het nodige geluid. Tevens vonden we het bed hard en kussen dun/zacht. Niet heel lekker geslapen dus, maar is natuurlijk onze persoonlijke mening. "
