😊: We had a great stay, the apartment was very clean, the location was fantastic (right in the centre of Lyon), and the check-in process worked smoothly. The host was very responsive, which we appreciated. There were some issues with the hot water, but a plumber was called the next day and it didn’t affect us too much during our stay.. 😢: Despite the fantastic stay, I did receive an email after checkout that presented a “Booking.com rating guide” which looked like an official policy with a Booking.com logo and font but was not. It attempted to frame anything below 5 stars as a negative or harmful rating. This is highly misleading and not something Booking.com endorses. No guest should be pressured to make specific ratings in line with the expectations of the host. Rating should be based on guests' own experiences..

😊: Great location. 😢: BEDBUGS! Also, they gaslighted us by denying the problem, even though we showed them multiple bites and found bedbugs, plus showed the host the droppings on the pillows in the apartment. It was horrible! And expensive for us, since we could not bring our luggage home from the airport before having it sanitized. Bedbugs were found in the enclosed luggage!.

😊: The location of the apartment was very good, across the river from old town and shops nearby. Apartment was roomy and quiet surrounding area. It was equiped fairly well and we appreciated the salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, etcetera left for us to use.. 😢: The floors were extremely squeaky but they were very old parquet floors, probably need some attention. The hand held shower is placed on a hook in a very awkward position and sprays all over the floor when turned on, needs to be re-positioned or one that swivels. No plug provided in the kitchen sink, so had to use running water to clean dishes..

This apartment is ideally and centrally located in Lyon off place bellecour. Close to the old town services, transit and the tourism office. It is fairly priced and quite functional for 2 people. RRecommended

😊: So central and quiet, this is a great spot from which to explore Lyon.. 😢: The shower could do with an upgrade, but it’s a minor quibble..
