Appartement deux chambres & deux salles de bain

😊: Location was good. Concierge was helpful to sort out some big failures.. 😢: No smoke alarm. Dirty sheet. Winter doonah on the bed for warm summer. Absolutely minimal stuff - not even a can or bottle opener in the kitchen which advertised as fully equipped. No garden as advertised, it was a dead wasteland. Carpet in dining area was disgustingly dirty. One bedroom was a tiny box, the bed stretched fully across the room so that one partner always had to climb over the other to get into bed. The ceiling was so low that I could easily touch it. No fans, even though it was so hot. The front door of the building was impossible to open because the intercom spoke only in French. We had to be let in by other tenants. Extremely steep and dangerous stairs. Loose and dangerous power points. An apartment for 4, but only 2 comfortable chairs to watch TV - 2 of us had to sit on stools. The outdoor setting was filthy with dust and bird droppings and unusable. In one bathroom the sink was blocked and the heated towel rail didn't work. The site advertised a 24 hr reception - Absolutely NOT, no one there. Be aware that even though there are 2 bathrooms, there is only one shared toilet..

😊: Cosy appartment, very clean, beds are comfortable.. 😢: Bedrooms are tiny, built on a mezzanine with low height, and probably covered by a metal flat roof which makes rain really quite loud. It didn't bother me, I like nature sounds, but my husband couldn't sleep from the noise of the rain on the roof just above our heads. Parking is not obvious, there is free parking in front of the building, but only for 1.5 hours, and also it's often full during the day..
