Hotel.sarlA few blocks from Gare de Lyon, a major transit hub, so convenient, and near the Seine. But 6 1/2 long, narrow curving flights of stairs up, so pack very light. Apartment has no air conditioning and was brutally hot. No screens or curtains on large bedroom window, so bugs and wasps flew in, and in summer, it's light very late and very early. Apt size was ok but too much furniture and personal stuff, so very cramped like being in a small camper. Toilet in a closet at one end of apt by kitchenette, and shower and sink at other end by bedroom. We kept bumping our head on the shelf in kitchenette where only 1 could really stand. Last, apt is near a hospital so traffic noise and sirens were very loud and constant all night long. Since we couldn't close the windows because of the heat, it was not our best experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Hosts were great and communicated well. We liked the view- it was special. Also, very well located to get around, but not too touristy. Really nice stay. Recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay in Paris. The apartment is a short walk away from major attractions, and the host was very accommodating.
