😊: Nice apartment, high ceilings, great bathroom, good lighting, generally quite well appointed.. 😢: Upstairs noise at night. If the overhead appartement is being rented out every noise is heard through the ceiling. If the upstairs neighbours are noisy, it's hard to sleep. A great pity..

😊: The good: Tastefully decorated 2 room apartment on the second floor of a quaint little house right in the centre of Honfleur. The rooms are airy and nicely furnished, the kitchen small, but functional. The location is exceptional, right next to the harbour and that famous wooden church. There's no parking available {see: you're in the town centre}) but you can find a free spot within walking distance if you search for a bit. Luggage transfer will be a bit of a challenge. Lastly, there's a lovely bakery a hop and a skip away, they also make really good coffee.. 😢: The bad: The stairs are twisty and narrow, getting your luggage upstairs will be tricky for larger bags and suitcases. But that's just a minor inconvenience. The major issue is, the walls are PAPER thin. You can and will hear your upstairs neighbours just walking around at 1am, and you will be heard as well. If you happen to travel with children, save yourself the hassle and just stay away (see below). The ugly: The owner calling you up, threatening to call the police and evict you without a refund because the kids got loud during a Monopoly game. Sarah, either warn your tenants in advance that your house has huge noise issues or just stop renting to families. And know that asking nicely would have added at least 3 points to the rating. Dear reader, if you travel with normal human children, I strongly advise you to think twice..

😊: Excellent location , close to church and harbour and restaurants, well equipped apartment with plenty of room. 😢: If you don’t like stairs it is up 3 floors.

😊: Fantastic location, great space and facilities. Overall very comfortable. Host was communicative and helpful.. 😢: Stairs are narrow and steep.
