😊: Good location and parking. 😢: A fan as it was so hot.

😊: The only positive was the bed, which was acceptable—but that’s a very low bar. This apartment is uninhabitable in hot weather, poorly maintained, and run by a host unwilling to provide even basic support. We ended up abandoning this property after our first night and had to forfeit the unused 2 nights then book somewhere else last minute. Learn from our costly mistake and AVOID this property.. 😢: Check-in was unnecessarily stressful and convoluted. The lockbox is hidden down a back alley behind the building, past a homeless man, then you have to walk back around to the front and hunt for a nearly invisible door number. The instructions sent were outdated, with incorrect lift codes and references to non-existent key stickers. The apartment is in a poorly converted office building with cheap furnishings, dirty kitchen utensils (we had to wash everything before use), and none of the essentials you’d expect at this price point. There’s no built in ventilation or a fan, and during a heatwave, the space became unbearably hot and stuffy like a sauna. We couldn’t sleep at all the first night, and opening the window (which faces a noisy main road) only let in traffic noise and no relief. The host was completely unhelpful and dismissive. When we requested a fan, we were flatly refused and told, “a fan wasn’t listed,” as if that somehow justified the total lack of comfort during extreme weather. After trying to resolve the situation with Booking.com over two days, the host still refused to refund the nights we couldn’t stay. We left after the first night and had to find another location to stay. Cleanliness and comfort were poor. The fridge was so loud it disrupted sleep, the towels were thin and low-quality, and the lighting at night was an awful dim ORANGE, adding to the discomfort. The curtain didn’t fully cover the window, so expect to be woken up by early morning light and zero privacy from the building opposite as there is no sheer curtain either. We were forced to pay a €500 damage deposit prior to the stay through a third-party website—something we’re usually warned to avoid due to scams, and in hindsight, should’ve been a red flag. For a property of this low standard, the amount felt excessive, unjustified, and frankly insulting..

😊: Great location. Good condition very clean. 200 yds from centre,amazing location.. 😢: Key was difficult to find attached cycle stand in key lock on the floor. Maybe a better description or photo. No air con when very hot. 500 euro deposit sort early as it said pay on arrival but no person option. 2 english cards refused payment due to security third went through..
