Appartement Leroy balcon - Welkeys

😊: Large apartment, separate bedrooms, very convenient transport options within a short walking distance. The linen and the towels are very clean and fresh. The apartment is quite clean as well. The staff that meets you is very helpful, answers all questions and tries to resolve all problems.. 😢: - The apartment is very, very old, and it *smells* very old (imagine an old person living alone for a long time) - Some things are so extremely old that the streaks and stains no longer come out (e.g. bathtub) - Everything is falling apart: sockets are hanging out of walls, faucets are barely holding on, sinks don't drain properly - Even though most of the apartment is clean, some things are completely neglected. E.g. the kitchen window is nearly opaque from grime. - There's no info in the apartment about things like wifi or key handling. If you forget what the agent told you, you *will* be stuck in the garage until the cleaning crew arrives. Because you need the blip to get in *and* out of the garage. It could've been so easy to have a "leave the garage first, leave keys second" info poster next to the key bowl, but nope. - They will send you an "offer" two days before check out to ask if you want a late checkout. If you do, they will charge you a fee. The day before checkout they will send a questionnaire for checking out, and will ask about late checkout again. If you want it, they will ask you again. They will only confirm the possibility of late checkout on the morning of the checkout (useless for you), but at least they will cancel one of the charges..

😊: Location in friendly neighbourhood, near metro station. Beds were comfortable, 2 balconies, overall nice. Great bakery near. 😢: No options to connect to TV, kitchen needs redesign. Bathroom is a bit strange but ok..

😊: Great location, excellent apartment for two couples, view of the Eiffel Tower. Comfortable and has everything you need. 😢: One small issue — there were two couples in our group, and we needed two sets of keys since we sometimes traveled separately. We were provided with the second set of keys right upon check-in, which was very convenient. However, we were not informed that this was a paid service, and €26 was charged afterwards without notice, once we had already left. If we had been informed in advance, we would have taken the keys anyway, but we would have preferred to be aware of any additional charges..

It was a bit tricky at check-in, we arrived later than anticipated partially due to heavy traffic and were left to manage the process on our own via concierge guidance through WhatsApp. Very important to take pictures of everything, high & low. The furniture is as pictured and was comfortable. There is an induction cooktop that I could not figure out how to use, I did appreciate the Nespresso, kettle & microwave. Plenty of dishes & glassware. Good restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, shops, etc in the area.
