Appartement Les Carroz d'Araches 4 à 6 couchages, vue sur montagne

😊: The apartment is a good value for money. It was warm, it was clean, there were dishes to cook, it can accommodate 6 people if they are not too big and not too picky. The location is good, the bus stops to/from the gondola (about 6-8 min ride) is very close + Spar supermarket.. 😢: The only thing I would definitely add is WiFi. The mobile Internet signal was very weak. Only enough for messaging. I couldn't book Uber cos the app constantly said I was offline. Going outside, walking around the building trying to get a better signal didn't help. So I ended up asking a friend to prebook a car for me for 6.30 am the next morning as well as to wake up at 5.50 to make sure that the car was coming. The cheapest wifi would have saved me these troubles and morning anxiety..

😢: The bedding that was there was filthy and we had to wash the bedding for both beds. The toilet seat was broken, the shower was broken, the cooking pans had no handles, there was no curtain at the bedroom window, there were no knives for cutting anything, there was no storage for any clothes. This was the worst accomadation I have ever used in France and it was a big let down. No info in the property about anything, such as Ski lockers which we found by accident, nothing about bin locations. just the worst place ever.

😊: Location was close to a spar shop within walking distance. There was plenty of parking although very icy in winter. Very hot water in the apartment Balcony overlooking the mountains Shutters on the French doors Heavy curtain over front door to keep out wind & chills Ski locker Washing machine Comfortable beds Heating worked well. Always warm in there. Bins for rubbish just as you drive in/out Bin under sink in kitchen Cooker hood with light 2 ring Halogen hob Microwave Toaster Gusto Dulce coffee machine which takes pods. 😢: No kettle No bedding No towels Limited cooking utensils (no fish slice for eggs), 1 sharp knife, no small plates, no mugs only small cups. Pillows different shape(cylinder/square) to ours (rectangle) our pillow cases did not fit. Bed was a small double(4ft). Against wall and had to climb over hubby to get out. Bunk beds are in the hallway. Bunkbeds against wall of next unit, loud banging in early hours of Saturday morning. Bathroom opposite bunkbeds. Had to message to get key code to lockbox. Delay in getting key code Cleaning the apartment was a requirement but no cleaning products available. Ski locker is a wooden tall box just big enough for ski’s & poles, my boot bag was to big..

😢: No cleaning product, basic..
