We really enjoyed being in the heart of the mediaeval city of Sarlat, walking everywhere. The studio apartment was funky fun, not exactly newly updated, but definitely lots of character a great experience to be in a 14th century building looking out at a 12th century building across the cobblestone street. Communicating with the owner property manager was easy they were both helpful. A unique experience we both very much enjoyed.

L'appartement de Xavier est très bien situé dans Sarlat! Vous allez en prendre plein les yeux et bien vous régaler!

You simply can not find a better location for visiting Sarlat. Within 300 meters of the apartment are numerous shops for food, countless wonderful restaurants, artisan studios, even a laundromat and of course the cathedral, bars, shops...Yet you are in the old city and it is quiet, private and safe. Both the owner and Stephan his 'concierge' are completely helpful and so kind. The apartment has everything you could need and all the appliances are in good working order. We were entirely comfortable there for our entire stay of more than 3 months. When due to the pandemic (2020) we were obliged to stay an extra 2 weeks, the additional cost was actually more than fair. A true bargain at the price asked. Would definitely stay there again.
