😊: Perfectly located on top of le panier area, walking distance from saint charles main train station and nearby main metro and tramlines available to go anywhere else, spacious and well equipped! Also: nice bakery in front and nearby monoprix supermarket. Good value for money..

😊: The location is pretty good. It was our first time in Marseille but the city seems pretty walkable.. 😢: The property in our specific case was unfortunately a big miss. They use a third party app separate from booking to charge you a 50 euro deposit and they make you take pictures of everything on check in and check out. There was extreme winds while we were there, with temperature sensation reaching 0 degrees. They provided space heaters, but the windows would burst open because of the wind and the broken latches (we had to engineer a solution with a plastic bag to keep them close). The temperature in the flat was unlivable. We were all wearing puffer jackets inside. Space heaters can’t be left on when we are gone so every time we came back it was horrible. Then, we lost the hot water on day 2. Again, we had to figure it out ourselves to turn on the tank or the heating system. And still, we barely had hot water in an already frozen flat. And then, to top it all off, one month later I receive that they’re keeping our 50 eur deposit in full because there was a stain on a TOWEL. I tried to debate them to at least do a partial charge because a towel is not worth 50 euros and they said no and also told me “we are finishing this discussion here” as if I was a child. I think staining a towel could be considered wear and tear of having a rental. In our case, it was due to a vegetable staining it, but what if I cut myself? It feels awfully punitive to immediately charge you 50 euros for this. The third party app has immediate access to your credit card for any charges so beware that they will immediately deduct this and I think they just look for a reason to do so. They also never addressed our complaints that we wanted a rental deduction because of the unlivable conditions..

😊: Great location and everything required was available and comfortable..

😊: Perfect location. Very clean and spacious apartment.. 😢: The lift broke on 2nd day meaning we had 126 steps to take to get to room. Balcony is extremely small with barely standing room..
