😊: There was a lovely lady, Amina, who greeted me to hand over the keys. She went through everything for our stay, and also contacted the host on behalf of us to communicate all the issues in the apartment. The location was great and super easy to walk around the city from the apartment. The AC was very good.. 😢: The toilet door was broken, which meant you couldn't get out of the toilet unless someone was in the flat to let you in. Most handles were broken too, which meant we had to be very careful at night. All the beds were missing slats and multiple slats broke as soon as we sat on the bed. All the chairs were broken. A lot of the kitchen was broken, the dishwasher, oven handle etc..

😊: Great location, very spacious, good value for money, friendly host. 😢: All the door handles fall off easily when you use them. We actually got trapped in one of the bedrooms all night which is really dangerous. They need fixing..

Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the standard presented in the listing photos, which appear significantly more polished than the actual condition of the accommodation. Access to the property involves several flights of very steep, narrow stairs, which were unclean and may present difficulties for some guests, particularly those with luggage or mobility concerns. Upon arrival, we noted a number of maintenance and hygiene issues, including visible damp and black mould on ceilings, damaged bannisters, broken chairs, and beds missing wooden slats, which affected both comfort and our sense of safety. We were also disappointed with the handling of our security deposit. Despite following the provided check-out instructions precisely — including leaving the key on the table and vacating as directed — a portion of our deposit was retained due to an internal door allegedly not being closed properly. The cleaner arrived shortly after our departure, so do not believe this deduction was justified. Additionally, we did not feel entirely comfortable in the surrounding area, particularly in the evenings. Overall, a very disappointing experience. With improved maintenance, clearer communication, & more accurate representation needing to be reflected.

😊: The quality of the accommodation was great for the price, and the host was very responsive and communicated everything well.. 😢: I wasn't the biggest fan of the area, but it was a very convenient location for getting to everything..

😊: Very clean, very welcoming stay with little toiletries and towels provided, even some bin bags and washing up liquid! String a/c and Modern finishes.. 😢: Some of the door handles were faulty but still usable and easy fix though and wouldn’t hold it against the property at all I really enjoyed my stay!.

Property was good, has an air-conditioned a big plus in Europe!! location is very central to walk to bus/train station/ restaurants/attraction. If you travel with car do NOT park in front of the property, Saint-Charles train Station is the best and safest option to park your vehicle.
