😢: We were unable to access the accommodation and therefore could not use the service at all. The issue was caused by incorrect and unclear key box instructions provided by the host. We followed the directions given, which led us to a key box where the provided PIN code did not work. As a result, we were unable to obtain the key. We recorded a video clearly showing that the key box did not open with the provided code and sent this video to the owner as evidence. In response, they stated that it was our fault for attempting to open the “wrong” key box and informed us that they would send a video demonstrating the correct key box. However, this promised video was never provided. Since then, they have stopped responding to our messages and have refused to offer any refund, including a partial refund. After reviewing guest feedback for this property, it has become clear that we are not the only guests who have experienced this issue. Multiple reviews describe similar problems caused by unclear or incorrect instructions provided by the host. We believe this situation occurred due to imprecise instructions from the host, not due to any fault on our part. Leaving guests without access, failing to respond, and refusing any form of compensation is unprofessional and unacceptable..

😊: We liked everything about the apartment and our stay. Very nice and modern apartment incl. big private terrace in a quiet and cozy neigbourhood/street of Hendaye. Great location for a morning walk to the beach. Also, very friendly owners and very good/effective communication with them. We can definitely recommend it. Thanks again. 😢: Check out 10am a bit early, could extend to 12 but not a problem for us..

😊: Beautiful, well equipped apartment. It is a ground floor annex to the adjacent house. Access at the very bottom of the cul de sac. Very useful to have both dishwasher and washing machine. Nice decking area at the front where you can sit and hang washing. I struggled initially to find the key safe box because I was looking by the main house. The host was very responsive and gave further guidance (in French). Good WiFi.. 😢: No shops nearby. 20+ minute walk to shops in port area. (Buses are cheap, so that is an option if you time it right)..
