Appartement rénové vue mer - citadelle de Bastia

😊: We liked the location very much. The Citadalle is close and there are bakeries and bars and a supermarket close by. Also it is a lovely walk down the horseshoe staircase to the Old Port.. 😢: We felt we needed an information pack about how the hob and oven worked and what type of capsules we should get for the coffee maker..

😊: It has a great location in Bastia, a short walk to the Citadelle. Parking on the street is not easy, but there is a public car park (not for free) nearby, reachable by stairs. The seafront side of the building is still under renovation, so the view is restricted. The apartment is nicely done and well equipped.. 😢: The building is very old, has a charm to it, but it is ridiculous, that the entrance space, public staircase and corridors do not have at least one sorry lightbulb. So in the evening you have to find your way to the apartment door in total darkness. Yes, you can use your phone's torchlight, but good luck doing that, when your hands are full with luggage..

😊: Very good location - walking distance to citadelle and city centre as well as to promenade. 😢: Ongoing reconstruction of the front part of the house.
