Appartement Souplex Centre de Cauterets

😊: The apartment is extremely small. The bedrooms are located in a basement below ground level and can only be reached via a very narrow staircase. The host charges an additional fee for towels, and overall she was not friendly or welcoming. I would recommend looking for a different place to stay..

😊: Apartment was in a great location very close to the centre of the village. The kitchen / living area was warm and spacious with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and although the bedrooms were small there was space to store clothes and toiletries. Bathroom newly redone and lovely, shower good and hot. They'd also supplied a clothes washing pod and a dishwasher pod to get us started which we appreciated.. 😢: Circular stairs down to the bedrooms did not feel very solid and were smooth so care was needed. There was a safety gate at the top but I do not recall a specific note in the booking alerting about the steep, narrow stairs. It was no problem for us, just a surprise. Perhaps put some non slip strips on the stairs? There was a lack of information/knowledge provided about the apartment by the lady who checked us in ie) how to close the blinds, putting trash out on departure (we had paid for cleaning) how to access the ski storage area (impossible) she seemed to be in a hurry..
