Appartement "un pied dans l'eau" dans la résidence" Le Grand Hôtel" à Wimereux

We found the apartment very well presented, quiet and clean. It is compact but not cramped - there's a surprising amount of space for a family of four, and the space is used really efficiently. It is well equipped, and in a really good location, right next to the beach and within a short walk of the town centre and its shops. The owner was friendly and made us very welcome and explained everything clearly. Easily reached from Calais, it is also a short drive (or train ride) from Boulogne-sur-mer and its attractions.

Very good flat for four persons. Everything is as described. The furniture and equipment is very well-thought. The contact with the landlord was very prompt and efficient. The landlady was very friendly and correct.

Clean, comfortable, beach front location, although no sea views from the apartment. Free parking around the building, short walk to town centre. Host very welcoming, helpful and organised. Kitted out with everything you need. Small shower the only downside but great rental for a few days by the sea for max 4 people. Would return.

My husband and I and our 2 children stayed in this very cute apartment for a week in August. First we have to begin by saying how lovely and welcoming the owners are. They have equipped the apartment with everything that you will need and the best thing was the amount of toys, board games and dvds provided for the children to play with, including a big bag of beach toys which came in very handy. It is clean, bright and airy and a 5 minute walk to the main road where you will find a supermarket, pharmacy and lots of shops and restaurants. Wimereux is a charming town, very beautiful and friendly and only 30 minutes drive from Calais so incredibly easy if coming from the UK. Thank you and we hope to be back again one day.
