Appartement vieux village - La Ponche

😊: Nothing. 😢: We booked this two-bedroom property in St Tropez but unfortunately the accommodation was completely unsuitable for staying in. Both bedrooms had severe mould issues due to a water leak (confirmed and admitted in writing by the host). The mould smell was overwhelming and made it impossible to sleep in the bedrooms. We were forced to drag a mattress into the lounge room, one person slept on the floor, and I eventually had to sleep in one of the mould-infested bedrooms as there wasn’t enough space. This is not what we paid for and is far below the standard expected for any rental, let alone one advertised on Booking.com. See photo attached from the water leak issue leaking from the roof onto the bedroom pillows. Despite contacting the host many times, I have received no reply and no offer of a refund. The property was not fit for purpose, and the lack of accountability from the host is unacceptable. I would strongly advise against booking this property..

Would be good to know beforehand that it can’t be accessed via a car, bit of walking involved. Property is best for 2 people as bathroom is very small.
