Apt lumineux hypercentre + parking.

😊: Spacious, well-equipped apartment on a quite safe street. About 15-20 min walk to the city centre. Bedroom faces a quiet inner courtyard. Having a place in a garage is very handy.. 😢: Absolutely killing staircase leading to the second (third by count) floor. Carrying heavy luggage to the apartment may cause you a heart attack. A place to get keys, the apartment and the garage are in three different locations, giving logistical headache. The garage door didn’t work during last two days of our stay, had to operate it manually..

😊: Location was fairly central, with a really nice bakery on the same street.. 😢: Before our stay, the host asked us to make a 250-euro deposit, which was not refunded until a couple of days ago (so I couldn't review this prior to that). Going for the key is complicated, but our biggest surprise came from the three flights of stairs that one has to go up (see the picture) to reach the apartment. Upon our entry to the apartment, there was a stale smell that followed us during the three subsequent days. We stayed for a full 2 weeks, and they only thought of leaving us one towel per person. When I asked for more towels (e.g., a face towel and additional towels), they came back with two additional towels for the remaining 8 days. The concierge was completely unhelpful and desperate, since they were not available every single time of the day. Aside from that, the key has an Apple tag attached to it so that the host can access your location every single time you leave your room (which breaches privacy protection and feels insecure). Both bathrooms were awful, with little space, not much care, and the toilet in particular was always extra cold. The apartment only has two radiators (one in the room and another in the living room), and they did not really work for most of the night, so mornings and evenings were particularly cold. Blankets for pillows were dirty and did not meet the minimum standards. For anyone looking for a room in Lille, keep looking!.

😊: Good location. Only a short walk to everything, but quiet, as it’s in an almost pedestrianised area. Comfortable flat with everything we needed for a short stay. Great to have free secure city centre parking included. Communication from our hosts was thorough and really helpful.. 😢: Everything was good for us, but some people might find the 3 flights of stairs up to the flat difficult..

Le bruit : l’appartement est mal isolé et on entend les voisins. La salle de bains , : trop petite- présence de moisissures.
