😊: Beautiful house, perfectly situated for beach, restaurants and marina. The house is like a beautiful home - not just a holiday rental. Very tasteful decor, and with all facilities you could ask for. Little touches like salt and pepper etc in the cupboards, cling film and foil, soap, toilet roll very much appreciated. Super friendly and helpful host Christophe explained everything we needed to know and checked in with us frequently (in a very non obtrusive way) to check that all was going well and offering his assistance. The town itself is lovely - we are out every night. There are some exceptional restaurants within very easy walking distance - our favourites were Bistro du port, and Kraken. We also ate very well at Chipirons and L'Estival.. 😢: Only negative is that I found the parking space that comes with the house quite difficult to negotiate because of the way others had parked their cars in the street..

😊: Good location, walking distance to beach shops bars and restaurants. Private parking. Comfortable well equipped living space, with outdoor seating area, which was smaller than appeared in the house detail photos. Pleasant none the less. with a gas BBQ.. 😢: We had an issue with the bed linen and towels which we were required to pay 99€ for. This was for both beds. Poor quality bedlinen. They supplied the wrong size fitted sheet for the larger bed, and we had to sleep on the mattress cover the first night, as we had arrived late due to accidents on our journey. It was sorted the next day. We also had to make the beds up ourselves, which we had never encountered before in a rental home. The only hanging space for clothes in the smaller room was hooks on the back door, so not ideal. No hangers ! There was a chest with a drawer and small cupboard below. If this property had nice bedlinen and the beds had been made, I would have given a better score in my review. This could easily be sorted in my opinion. With a small estate car, it was difficult to come and go as cars parked opposite the drive gates. Not the owners fault obviously, but something to be aware of..

😊: Breakfast was not included. On site parking a huge bonus. Walkable distance to a good variety of restaurants, shops and the railway station. Our ‘concierge’ Christophe was helpful, friendly and available to answer questions should we have needed him to do so.. 😢: We had to pay extra for the provision of sheets, towels etc. This was not clear on the website and was added on just prior to our stay, so we had no choice but to accept it. The bedding did not fit the mattresses - none of the sheets provided were suitable for purpose. The mattress covers had not been laundered either. This issue could easily be remedied with a little more care and effort. (The beds were not made up and had the owner provided this normal service, there would not have been a problem).
