😊: A pleasant little apartment in a very beautiful area. Minutes walk to the harbour or the beach and the best local cafe in the area Maybe Kafe. The area is this place's selling point primarily. The apartment itself takes shabby chic to its fullest, it feels like staying at a friend's house with all the nick-nacks to go with that. Many reviews complain about it being difficult to find, but we found it easy to find, just on the corner off the junction. The parking space is just a minute's walk away around the corner. You can offload luggage right outside however.. 😢: We found a few issues with this apartment, on arrival all the shutters were closed so it was very dark, so we had to figure that out. It felt a little unwelcoming as if the place had been closed for weeks. The apartment also needs some refurbishment in places such as peeling tile stickers in the shower and kitchen, wallpaper peeling off in the bedroom. It felt a little home-made in its aesthetics. The shower is also very old. The water too is scalding hot as someone else mentioned so be careful. The bedroom is very small and one side of the bed is against the wall. Also the air is very stale and dusty so we both suffered with allergy symptoms. This may in part be due to the out-dated fan in the bathroom. It was because of this we had to leave early. We hoped to use the bikes but upon testing the brakes we found they didn't work so we couldn't use them. Upon leaving the owner complained (in french, all correspondence is in french which was hard for us) that we left rubbish in the apartment but we collected all the rubbish into one bin. We saw no bins outside to remove it to and there was no information in the apartment on house rules that we could see so this felt very upsetting. We pride ourselves on leaving a place in good condition. This left a bad feeling with us as guests. Highly recommend to the owner a welcome folder of instructions in different languages for guests to see and use on arrival like other places do. This would negate the need for excessive text messages to guests phones with images of local attractions in french that they can't translate as well. There's also no WiFi..
