AU 13 : FENETRES SUR ARROMANCHES

😊: Great location in Arromanches, which meant we could easily walk to the front and enjoy all the activities going on there - the concerts, the beach, the fireworks. Very comfy; large living room. Quiet, no disturbances (even after the firework display). The host and local contact did an excellent job keeping in touch and ensuring we enjoyed our stay, and providing a very warm welcome. Large fridge/freezer and a microwave + hob, so catering was straightforward. Enabled us to get out and enjoy the Normandy D-Day locations.. 😢: Be aware that the free car park is a short walk away; on one day we had to search out another location (there are lots of on-street free spots, but you have to go hunting for the non-blue parking areas). The bathroom is small but functional..

😊: Location was very convenient. 😢: The appartement was clean, but there were ants in the kitchen. One of the rooms has a door that can’t be closed because of the beds position, so you are obliged to sleep with the door open opened. There was only hand wash at the bathroom. We would have appreciated to have some shower gel and shampoo..

😊: Isabella was lovely and ensured we were comfortable before handing over the apartment. We also had all the contacts if needed but we didn't.. 😢: We didn't like the fact we had to come home as the weather was fabulous and Arromanches is not just a history village the beach is lovely and local food fabulous..

😊: Taking over the property was a dream , we shown everything then left to our own devices as was leaving . The apartment was immaculate and really comfy a home from home and very near the beach front with wonderful shops bars and restaurants. Can't wait to visit again. 😢: Only stayed for a long weekend . Will stay for much longer next time.
