😊: Location by the river Walking distance to a beautiful town with bars and restaurants. 😢: I think we were the first guests there for some time, The place smelled musty and damp . The outside area was overgrown.. Only one toilet down the stairs which was a quite steep spiral affair Overall the place needed quite a bit of work. But once done it could be stunning.

😊: The owner was very helpful with information about the key and directions and responded quickly. The house was clean and had everything you need for 4 - 6 people and the kitchen is well equipped. New TV with Netflix etc. Barbecue, table tennis table, boats provided. There are some nice old pieces of furniture. Parking directly in front of the house and outside seating area. 5 minute walk into the old town of Pesmes Restaurant directly next door. Supermarket and great boulangerie in the town.. 😢: The spiral staircase to the upstairs is quite narrow and not easy with luggage. Toilet is on the ground floor, bathroom upstairs very old fashioned but the huge boiler provided instant hot water. We could hear people walking in the attic above us which sounded like they were outside the bedroom door . It was a bit unnerving until we realised where the noise was coming from. Perhaps new curtains and a few picture frames would give it a cosier feel. Bring your own large towels if you cannot manage with the small ones provided ;-).

😊: Good size rooms. Covered all requirements. Great location. Very quiet . Parking excellent. Pleasant setting next to a river. 😢: Would be great if wc was on the same level as bathroom. Spiral staircase might be difficult for some people..
