Property is tradional and well presented. Big garden with stream to the rear. A bit out of the way and a good walk to local amenities. You do need a vehicle if more senior in years. The cottage is well equipped with masses of hot water. A good spot for peace and quiet. The owner is very accommodating and so friendly too. A little gem.

Good size and very clean, two gardens either side of bungalow one ideal for dogs the other is a large garden but has quite a steep slope to stream great if you don’t have a mad runaround dog, very good fence and could lock outside gates. Sheep opposite good for watching from the garden. Very quite and peaceful.

This property is in an extremely quiet location far from the bustle of modern life. It is in a small valley overlooked by an apple orchard with sheep in it. The back of the house, with a barbecue and garden, has a small stream passing by it. If you are looking for tranquility surrounded by the green valleys of Normandy then this is the right house for you. Walks are possible directly from the house and there are many places to visit in the area including the Chateau-Musée de Saint Germain de Livet and the Museum of Art and History in Lisieux. The D-Day beaches are a forty minute drive away. The property is well equipped and well maintained (we stayed in August so did not require heating). We had a very nice welcome from the owner who offered us advice and answered our questions. The hand-over was quick and uncomplicated. We then enjoyed six days in the property, using the house as a base to explore the surrounding area.

We stayed at the house for 9 days and had a great time. We were lucky with the weather and we loved the quietness around the house. We and our dogs enjoyed the large garden. The house was clean, very well equipped, everything we needed was available and the beds were good !! You can rent the house per day which is very convenient. We booked from Friday to Sunday, this way we avoided the Frenc heavy traffic on Saturday twice !!!!!! There is no internet available, but we didn't really care. The only serious comment is the low water pressure. So all together a pleasant stay and good memories.
