Our stay at La Rieu was made memorable by the wonderful hospitality of the owners, Didier and Elisabeth. They, along with their dogs made us immediately feel like part of the family. The Gite is very comfortable, modern and well located. It is amazing that it is a short way off a major road yet, you feel you are in the country once you pass through the gate. Day trips to many nearby towns are easy and rewarding. Ales is a clean, upbeat city . Didier's brother's restaurant is not to be missed
