Authentic 19th c Farmhouse with heated pool fiber optic and air conditionné

Very friendly welcome. House, pool and ground were perfect. Best possibility to relax. It's been a perfect place for us for years to spend our holidays and it will be again – definitely. Thank you very, very much for everything and the offers in addition and far beyond.

Lovely views from the pool out across French countryside. Pool is modern, clean and good size. Some issues with the electric cover, but that was down to a failed sensor which is on order. House is lovely and unspoilt, we loved it. But for some the interior lighting might be on the dim side. This did not bother us as we were out by the pool most of the time. There are alot of steps to negotiate, some steep and narrow. Again, we were fine with it but worth noting. Overall we would highly recommend it, quite a find !

We had a fantastic week enjoying this lovely peaceful house. The house is well equipped, has lovely views and the amazing swimming pool was thoroughly used given the hot weather. We are already thinking about when we can visit again.

Once used to the layout of the property it is a really good place to unwind. Excellent wifi and one of the best kept pools we have had.

We intended having children there as well . However COVID 19 restricted their travel options from Ireland. Taxi service to and from Thiviers were excellent and we got to know Gislaine. The small supermarket in the nearest village was very badly stocked. You cannot rely on them. We found everything that we needed for cooking in the kitchen. Corrine appreciated our communication with her on arrival and departure.

We had an amazing time at your house. The house was a nice old French house with a grate pool and an amazing view. We spend most of the time in and around the pool. The only thing we did not like that much were the stairs. From the pool to the kitchen is 2 stairs. But we got used to that. Thank you for letting us rent your amazing house. The house is located at the top of of small valley where each morning the sun rises above the opposite slope. The master bedroom is the perfect location to watch or just let the sum do it's job: gently wake you ease you into the day. From there we usually enjoyed an early morning dip in the heated pool followed by long breakfasts on the patio with locally sourced food (Boclet Bernard in Thiviers has amazing Croissants). For cyclists the house is located in a quite little hamlet with lots of backroads allowing you to cycle peacefully to the shops in the different villages and towns nearby. The house has everything you need for a stay in the countryside including plenty of room for large families. The quirkiness of the layout of the house added to the experience. It had all the amenities we needed for our 2 weeks. The house is a short drive from many of the location that feature in the Dordogne to do lists. Beautiful old house full of character would be interesting to know more of the history, everything you need in the kitchen bedrooms worked well with older children in the group, pool was perfect not overlooked and plenty of shaded areas when needed, would definitely recommend this property
