A quiet, peaceful location. The property was just as it was advertised in the listing. A little difficult to find initially partly because of some road works / diversion.Would recommend for up to four people (two double beds). The stairs are quite 'steep' and rather narrow if that would be a problem (perhaps showing my age with that comment)Lots of equipment / crockery except only 4 mugs!!
Nice little property on private land, no traffic, and very quiet. Very easy to find on google maps and check in was easy. The house has everything which you would need and very clean. Julia our host was very quick to respond to any questions. We would come again. Julie

We had a great stay in this cosy, well placed and calm house. A wonderful starting point for day trips in the region. Our kids enjoyed the large space able to play free and safe. Everything for daily needs is just few minutes away. Travelling by car is a good choice
We enjoyed the calm and secluded atmosphere of this place. A really beautiful old house with modern equipment, a nice terrace and a huge green area just around. Julia was the perfect host, thank you!
We enjoyed our holidays in this residence very much. I don’t think it is necessary to describe the house, park and environment once again. This was done by many comments before and all of them that I have read were accurate. I want to also underline the great hospitality and trust of the Mrs. Schuell. The handovers where uncomplicated. The host family was in vacation most of the time. Nevertheless Mrs. Schuell was always available via WhatsApp. The cottage is tasteful decorated and very clean. We could spend two weeks in a private atmosphere inside a huge well-kept park with animals to watch. We did not see deer, but some kinds of wild fowl and rabbits :) So also rainy days where no problem in this residence. Even if fifteen minutes by foot to the beach was a little bit optimistic for us. There are many nice routes for walking and biking nearby where you can reach bay that is filled during the flood time. Huge and beautiful watched sandy beach areas are about 6 km (Berck) and about 15 km (Fort Mahon) away with very good cycling routes. Groffliers is a small village that offers a small grocery store and a delicious bakery. All in all we had a great time and we recommend to spend your vacations in this cottage.
We had a very nice and relaxing time in this beautiful little house. The cottage is well furnished and equipped, situated in this wonderful parklike garden. We grabbed the chance to try some tennis (we are total beginners) and loved the walks along the bay and the beach ... and to watch the seals!! ... We felt welcomed and would sure like to come back another time.
We love the region very much, especialy during the winter: walking on the nearly empty bay en endless beaches. We take the weather as it comes. And we enjoyed the cottage very much, we came for the second time. It's cosy and comfortable and Mme Julia is a warm hostess. We certainly will come back C.and T. - Belgium
