Visiting Abbeys and 11th-C. crypt, clock house and riverside walks. Trip to Guédelon (45km) Best free parking under the trees above Boulevard de la Châinette. Best supermarket in the centre: Monoprix (at back of clothes shop!). 😢: In a cold middle September there was not much going on in the city --> self catering. Take care when wiping down the stove top, a ring can spontaneously switch on..

😊: Driving up to the property under the gaze of the most beautiful Abbey close by, driving down the most beautiful cobbles to the front door, climbing the short set of stairs to open up a rustic beautifully restored apartment, we felt very blessed and we both rated this as the best ever Booking.com residence we had stayed in. Very clean, open, light, spacious with all the charm of an old property with the modern luxury of a restored residence. We were sad to only stay a short time. Absolutely fabulous in every way. Then... In the morning, being gently woken by the bells chiming nearby. Incredible experience. We loved it. 😢: Leaving! We want to come back and stay again for longer..
