😊: The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and there was excellent information provided throughout the property, including manuals and clear step-by-step illustrated guides explaining how everything worked. The air conditioning was very effective, which was much appreciated in the heat. The pool was absolutely pristine, cleaned every day and kept spotless throughout our stay. The BBQ was modern, immaculate and a pleasure to use. The views are beautiful, and the property is located in a lovely village with wonderful walks straight from the doorstep.. 😢: There were a few things that weren't quite as expected. The property is an annexe attached to the family home, and the owners' dogs were allowed to roam freely around the grounds. Unfortunately, this unsettled our dog on several occasions. The grounds are also shared with overnight camper vans, which wasn't something we were expecting when booking. While the property has a lovely terrace that is perfect for relaxing in the summer, there isn't an indoor lounge or living area. This wasn't an issue during our stay, but it could make the accommodation less comfortable during the colder months. Although we booked and paid for the entire property, one of the bedrooms remained locked throughout our stay. As the listing states that guests are renting the whole property, this didn't feel quite right. We were also charged for damage to a throw at the end of our stay, which we genuinely do not believe we caused. Unfortunately, we had no way of proving this, so we paid the charge as it simply wasn't worth disputing. I would recommend that future guests carefully inspect the property and furnishings on arrival and take photos, just in case any questions arise later..
