Aux Portes du Beaujolais

😊: Large space. We had four of us staying, one couple in a room with a double bed, the other couple had two single beds in one room. This worked fine for us but I imagine this set up would be great for a family. Full kitchen with everything you could need and friendly hosts. There is also a Wii and some board games at the property. The bathroom is great and there is a second toilet too. Just a tip: If you are British and not used to window shutters then keep them closed during the day to keep the heat out which is what we did in the bedrooms and it works very well (I don't know why British people insist on opening the curtains and windows letting all the hot air in). We cleaned the property ourselves before leaving rather than pay the cleaning fee and we got back our full deposit so we must have done a good job. 20 minute or so walk from the train station, very close to the main road of shops and restaurants and only 10 minute walk to the main supermarket. If I was in the area again I would stay here for sure.. 😢: There are a lot of stairs. A set of stairs from the front door to the living space and another set up to the bedrooms. They are quite steep and a bit slippy (one us is did slip down them but he is known to be clumsy but he was all okay). It wouldn't put me off staying again but if you can't manage stairs easily then this might not be a good fit for you. I'd suggest speaking to the host if you have very little ones as the stairs in the living space are not blocked off by a door..
