Bannay: Paradise Champagne

Lovely house! Beautiful environment. We stayed with 12 friends. Everything is really nice. However, if the bed in the corridor is a bit small for 2 adults, for kids it is perfect.

It was a wonderful old house with a beautiful garden .The right Choice to spend a weekend with a big family. You have enough room inside and outside in the garden with the pool.

Clemence and Emmanuel, thank you for welcoming us. Domaine des Anges in Champagne is a little treasure. It was an ideal place for enjoying the beauty of the Champagne countryside with vineyards as far as the eye could see and for tasting as many delicious champagnes as we could handle! The location was also ideal as it took less than 30 minutes to reach Epernay where the "big" maisons de champagne are located but also near towns like Talus St Prix where the smaller organic champagne producers can be found. One week was not enough to experience all of what the region offers besides champagne so we intend to come back and hopefully be able to stay at Domaine des Anges again. The house was so comfortable that it felt like home. A fully equipped kitchen, five spacious bedrooms, very spacious living room with tv and dvd. The house was very clean, and we were warmly welcomed by the owners. Its situated about 30 minutes outside of Eperney, and when you like calm and peace the perfect place. The large garden and pool were perfects for the kids, while sitting on the terrace and overlooking the garden, enjoying a glass of champagne. We would surely recommend this place to anyone considering visiting this area! Thank you, too, for recommending Champagne Jeaunaux-Robin - their welcome and wines were "incroyable!"

Few words just to tell that we will never forget our stay in "Le Domaine des Anges". Many reasons: an authentic little and charming french village in the middle of the famous Champagne vineyards but what we really loved it's the spirit and philosophy of the "Domaine". Totally respectfull of environment, a very interesting ecoplace where the owners take care of nature and also of our health (ask for Clémence, she is naturopath...). They have so many interesting projects as a permaculture area, etc... For all these reasons we plan to come back next year, for sure! Thanks a lot....

This was a truly wonderful and amazing place to stay! We booked as a family holiday (9 adults, 3 children and baby) and were absolutely 'blown away' by this private property, secure for the children both in the grounds and pool area. It is situated in a very pretty village, easy access to local places of interest close to Champagne Houses, and not so far away from Epernay and Reims. It was very clean, especially for a rustic cottage. The house has a modern kitchen with all the equipment you need. We were there with a group of friends and enjoyed cooking together and tasting the champagne! The rooms are spacious and most are equipped with a private bathroom. Thanks to Clemence and Emmanuel for this Domaine des Anges! Highly recommended.

My husband and I have been renting this house for 3 years because it's well-equipped with everything you need and this is a wonderful place to spend a vacation with kids. This year, we were ten adults with four couples who wanted to experience the Champagne region and it was the perfect house for all of us. Domain des Anges far exceeded expectations of our friends to explore the Champagne region. The house is just a short drive away from Epernay, and Reims. The little village of Bannay is so cute and Champagne Jeaunaux based nearly at the foot of the driveway to Domain des Anges is organic and brillant! It's a 10 minutes drive to Sezanne where you can stock up on food at its supermarket. For us, it's paradise on earth! "We stayed for one week in autumn 2011 and May 2012 each, and it felt like a home from home for us. The cottage is located in Bannay, close to champagne houses, Epernay and Reims - dignified - a place of great beauty - space - silence. The cottage itself is charming and very well equipped. The garden including the lake and the pool area is lovely and was perfect for our Landseer dogs to burn off a bit of excess energy in. Overall the owners could not have done anything more to make our stay more pleasant and enjoyable. Would recommend this to all."

"We are really pleased with this estate which has truly an exceptional specific charm. It's really an idyllic spot like there isn't many in the world and we'll never forget it ! We've been welcomed with a bio bottle of Champagne. A real French 'savoir vivre', a really nice way of starting our visit. Then, they left us the keys as if we were already friends. And everything that follows was just pleasure and happiness in the charming family house built in 1816. The bedrooms are spacious with bathroom, big bath tub and toilet. We appreciate the living room with its huge chimney designed by the grand father, the dining room covered with marble, the kitchen with a Gaudin's cooker (like the master chief) ! And we have loved the Domain so much especially due to the fact that every one has its independence into the house and outside. We can easily suntan on the deck chairs while children are playing in the swimming pool. My wife was able to read and write around the lake in the quiet... and our children were playing in the park or in the forest around the village with their bicycles. It's a French village with its historic church you think you can only see in films. Moreover it's really the estate of "Les Anges Gardiens de la Planète' but we will let Clemence, Colette or Emmanuel explain it to you... Anyway, simply an amazing stay for our Champagne tour!"
