First of all the property is fabulously French eclectic and so comfortable but so luxurious at the same time. Beautiful and unforgettable place with...<br>#128578; I don't know where to start because everything about our stay at the bastille de Bellegarde was wonderful. On the outside the Bastille is a beautiful old stone provencal house set in a large garden. The inside is a quixotic mix of antiquities and art, lavish fabrics and old mirrors collected by the owner and host, Brian, who has restored this property with obvious love and attention. We had a wonderful stay with Brain for 3 nights. The service from Brian and Alex was amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The property is extraordinary - it's a real gem. Highly recommend

Brian has created a picture perfect oasis that was a pleasure for us to visit. We only wish we could of stayed longer. I highly recommend staying for dinner, it was a real treat and an opportunity to get to know our host.

Our stay here was fabulous. The property is unique and full of charm and class from the French countryside. We enjoyed riding bikes they provided to nearby Avignon and loved the breakfast and dinners which were fresh and delicious. Our hosts at the Bastide were incredibly friendly and in every sense made us feel like members of their own family. Would absolutely recommend this property!

This was an amazing place to stay at. Brian is an incredible host who put a lot of thought into every detail of the stay. 10/10 would stay here again!!
