Bastide Provençale en ville Aix en Provence dans un cadre buccolique

We were very happy with this property. It is private and could spend our time very independently, but also had the benefit of a private swimming pool to cool off at the end of busy days. It is situated on the outskirts of town, but about 12 minute drive from central Aix. A few stores are walkable for essential purchases. Access to highways closeby and easy access to regional tourist locations, e.g. Avignon, Rhône Valley history and wine tastings. Other Southern France coastal attractions also very reachable within the hour. Different, even interesting layout inside the home, very comfortable with cooking, refrigeration, laundry capabilities. Loved this trip. Would certainly do this the same way again. Thank-you Alain and Alexandra for your generous hospitality.

Alain’s property was exactly as pictured + described. We found it to be very comfortable, immaculately clean, and in a great location. The pool was an added benefit, and very enjoyable on hot August afternoons! Alain and Alexandra were really lovely hosts too. Definitely recommend this rental!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Thank you Alain for being a wonderful host! It is an ideal location to spend time in Aix-en-Provence and the surrounding areas. We drove into town and we’re able to find parking. Although we could not park directly at the house, the parking down some steps was only 1 minute walk away. The house is very pretty and the pool is fantastic - we loved our stay. Thank you!

Minutes away from everything you want in Aix En Provence, this idyllic private setting is the perfect home base for exploring the region. Less than. An hour to anywhere we wanted to go, with everything we needed and more. The pool was a special treat. Many thanks for the hospitality and sharing your lovely part of the world, we miss it already!

What a charming space for taking in the bounty of the region! Proximity to our daily destinations was a key driver, but I cannot over-emphasize how wonderful it was to have a pool for afternoon dips during the heatwave, as well as air conditioning for summer nights. The patio in the garden was perfect for a bottle of wine or a coffee while planning the next day’s itinerary. Simply a perfect setup for a visit, with a gracious host. Highly recommended.
