😊: The location was excellent, right on the heart of the medieval area around the Cathedral. 😢: There are two very similar front doors, same number and the lock box is nearer the one it’s not correct for. The remote control for the garage door is missing/broken. Cupboards have lots of discarded boxes for equipment fitted in the house. For the price and location a welcome pack would been good, juts a bottle of wine, a few beers and some basics that can start you off before a trip to the supermarket.

😊: It’s a beautiful spacious house in a central location. Lovely decor, bathrooms & garden. It was very well equipped. Alex at Melrose was very helpful.. 😢: Some of the bedrooms could have done with a chest of drawers, full length mirror & a waste paper bin..

😊: Very good location, comfortable rooms and very good facilities.

😊: Excellent for large groups. Well equipped kitchen and dining room for cooking own meals.. 😢: Quite difficult to get to top floor with luggage. No shower in top floor bathroom..
