The apartment is located directly on the sea and you can see from the balcony and some rooms. A real beach (only with gravel) is not nearby, which was not a problem for us. It is very quiet and you are not really disturbed despite a street in front of the house. Especially pleasant for the children is a stable Internet connection, with which streaming is also possible. The landlord is very nice and helpful. For communication it is - in the whole area - helpful if you speak some French.It is a pity that there is no bakery or small supermarket within walking distance. You have to drive at least 15 minutes. Overall, however, a relaxing vacation.

We had a 12 days vacation in Omonville la Rogue. A very Nice small town with a beutifull harbour. 2 Nice fish restaurants in the harbour. Their is 1 small shop but only open in the weekend when we where their. Large super U supermarkt is 6km drive. The house has a nice enterior. Good 4 bedroons. 8 beds in total. Nice bathroom.but 1 toilet is a little less for an 8 persoons house. The house was clean when we arrived and beds where Nice made up. The garden is alsof nice. You can make nice walking trips allong the shores. Visit zo Cherbourg is 30 min drive. D-day museums and beaches are 45-1hr drive. We had a great holiday and would recommend this house to everyone.
