Beau domaine au mileu des vignes, terrasse de 200m2!

Maison très bien conçue suites parentales , vaste cuisine et salon , terrasse avec vue imprenable sur les vignes, piscine chauffée, boulodrome , ping-pong, barbecue , emplacement pour stationnement des voitures et accueil chaleureux avec boissons , tarte sucrée et salée de bienvenue !!! Un seul regret quitter ce bel endroit !!!!

For family and friends who look for a beautiful home with perfect pool and outdoor living set-up in the South of France… away from the summer crowd but close to everything to see and to do in “le pays Cathare”. The hosts Marie and Michel were simply amazing! Kind, hospitable and always ready to help. The vegetable tarte et la tarte tatin awaiting our family upon arrival was such a lovely touch. It definitely set the tone for our week. Space, style, huge outdoor living set up and great large salt water pool… air conditioning in all the bedrooms! We had so much fun playing at the pétanque. Practical location in terms of food shopping with Lezignan offering local products and big names supermarkets shopping, only 15 minutes easy drive away. We recommend the Saveurs Marines seafood and fish shop bin Lezignan, for fresh seafood, fish and great catering including their paella! And so many catharsis history and Corbieres trails to check out all alround. The beaches around Narbonne and Gruissan ~30 minutes drive away. So perfect “Le Sud” experience without the crowd. We simply loved it.

La maison et la piscine sont formidables. Une belle piscine avec une immense terrasse au soleil. Un coin barbecue avec une grande table ou nous avons pris tous nos repas. Une grande pièce de vie, une belle cuisine assez bien équipée (il manque un ou deux ustensiles pour un amateur de bon petit plat). De très belles chambres avec chacune une salle de bain/douche et un grand dressing. Deux chambres ont des salles de douche refaites très fonctionnelle. Très important, il y a le Wifi avec un bon débit. Primordial quand on voyage avec des ados… La maison est un peu isolée vis-à-vis des commerces, mais c’est le point de départ idéal pour visiter la région.

We enjoyed staying in Clos d'Orbieu so much - it's a beautiful place and we felt at home immediately. It's newly renovated and furnished in a very tasteful and stylish way - there was simply nothing missing at all! The total privacy was a great plus - nobody and nothing disturbed and we could totally relax and enjoy our holidays. The owners were so friendly, supporting and helpful - we can highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking for a secluded holiday home with great views!

The pool was spot on for our requirements, its removable cover gave peace of mind that the children could play outside whilst the adults prepare a meal in the kitchen. All the facilities indoors: kitchen. laundry, lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms were what you would expect from a quality venue. With plenty of shade, or mobile parasols on offer outside, the pool could be enjoyed all day long. A great barbecue close to hand so dressing-up for dinner is optional ;) The venue has total privacy coupled with open space over the vineyard. It lends to peaceful evenings watching the sun go down, the bats flying, the odd lizard or two, the moon rising, stargazing and listening to the owls. The local boulangerie-pâtisserie is very friendly too ;) Thank you for a wonderful holiday! For us, it was well worth the expense and we would love to return one day!

We are seasoned villa holiday makers and overall had a great stay in this property. The pool and terrace area with BBQ and outdoor dining table overlooking vineyards is a key feature. Plenty of sunbeds and outdoor seating. Kitchen is well equippped (but like most villas could do with better sharp knives and more chopping boards!) The delicious tarte aux pommes and quiche left by the owners were a lovely touch. Stylish, spacious & comfortable sitting room. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with own closet and ensuite bathroom. The two front ones have air con and super Grohe showers. The side two could benefit from the same. The main road through the village is quite close and can be noisy in week days depending on the wind direction - it didn't bother us too much. The owners were welcoming and responsive - we had a blocked sink in the kitchen and a plumber arrived within an hour. We visited obvious places like Carcassone and Abbaye de Frontfroide. But also enjoyed the Canal du Midi villages like Le Somali and a walk along the local River Orbieu.
