😊: apartment’s location.. 😢: A dirty, very dirty, far too dirty flat Our advice is to steer clear of this place: it was, without a doubt, one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. Let’s start at the beginning: finding the keys is far from obvious and prone to confusion. Luckily, a neighbour was just leaving the block and helped us solve the puzzle; even so, it took us quite a while to get inside. Access to the flat is via a rather dirty inner courtyard cluttered with building materials (some of which were hazardous); the stairs leading up to the flat are also in a poor state (rubbish, cobwebs, etc.). We might have been able to put all this into perspective if, upon arriving at the flat, we hadn’t been met with the biggest surprise of the holiday: the flat was dirty, covered in dust and with hair piled up everywhere – on the surfaces of the furniture, in the corners of the flat, around the toilet, under the sofa, in the fan housing… The worst part was when we peered under the bed: a dreadful layer of dust and grime, with some rubbish left behind by other people (empty bottles). We reported the situation on the very same day. We were asked to send photos (which we did, although it’s difficult to photograph dust), and they said they would ‘look into’ the situation, but nothing happened until the end of our 8-day stay. As a result, we had to clean the flat ourselves (a task we had to repeat almost daily, as every day we were surprised by new patches of dirt). Other issues: the television didn’t work, there was no shower gel or shampoo, and on two mornings we were woken by the noise of building work that started at 7.00 am in the flat next door… Communication was exasperating and completely ineffective at resolving the problems. We never knew who was responding – whether it was artificial intelligence or different people from a call centre. We asked for a partial refund, but to date we have received no reply. The only thing that didn’t disappoint was the apartment’s location..

😊: Lonely, central, very clean apartment. 😢: Too late check-in at 5 pm. 3 pm much better. Despite this we had the opportuniy to check out at 12 i/o 11.
