Beaumoulin's Acacia - Nemours - Cycling

Peaceful stay We have been staying in Acacia for many years and this stay was just as wonderful as every other. The gite is always clean and comfortable and well equipped. We enjoy the tranquility and the canal and birdsong. It is a pleasant walk along the canal to Souppes sur Loing. We enjoy visiting places both locally and further afield such as Nemours, Fontainebleau, Chateau Landon, Barbizon, Montargis, Provins and Sancerre. There are many interesting walks and activities such as bouldering in the forest. We particularly love and enjoy the welcome from the family.

Simple mais sympathique Accueil très sympathique de l'hôtesse. Le gîte se trouve dans un bel environnement, propreté irréprochable. Décoration simple, pas très moderne, comme nous adorons! Nous étions 2 couples qui ne nous connaissions pas, invités à un anniversaire à proximité. Notre intimité a été respectée. C'est un très bel endroit.

séjour champêtre au bord de l'eau Très bon séjour. Nous avons bénéficié d'un beau soleil et avons pu profiter de l'extérieur. Lieu calme, reposant au bord du canal qui offre de belles promenades avec nos amis à quatre pattes en toute sécurité. Le terrain clôturé commun aux deux gîtes est très appréciable pour un séjour avec enfants. L'intérieur est très bien aménagé pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Gîte bien équipé. Bien situé pour partir à la découverte de la forêt de Fontainebleau, des villages du gâtinais. Nous avons aussi fait une escapade d'une journée à Versailles très accessible depuis La Madeleine en voiture. Plusieurs lignes de bus et train à proximité. Propriétaire très sympathique qui nous a offert un excellent accueil. Un bon souvenir.

Canal side gite A simple clean canal side gite with east facing windows. Easy access to cycle paths and walks. Friendly helpful owners.

Très bon accueil, gîte très confortable Super endroit, Cécile nous a appris beaucoup d'informations très enrichissantes sur sa ferme et sa région. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Superb stay As usual we had a wonderfully comfortable stay. We enjoyed the facilities and the beautiful surroundings. We love watching the boats go by on the canal and listening to the cuckoo. Plenty of advise was on hand from the owners and as a result we enjoyed some lovely meals out in local restaurants. The gite is well placed to visit pretty and interesting places.

A delightful stay by the canal A wonderful sunny place on the Loing Canal run by the adjacent farm family (though they were not intrusive at all). Great place to have dinner outside on a sunny early evening. Two minor issues: (1) the location on Google Maps is not where the site is, and (2) there was no soap in the bathroom. But a lovely place.
