Beautiful country house with private garden and heated swimming pool

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful traditional French country house. The pool was fantastic for the whole family. Tamara is a great host, answering any queries straight away. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We had a fantastic time on our trip! A perfect house for two families holidaying together. The kitchen was very well equipped and the lovely pool was a huge with everyone.

Brilliant stay in this fantastically equipped property. Really in the countryside, absolute peace and quiet. Kids (teens) loved the pool, the games, the table tennis. Bedrooms are a good size, bathrooms good. Kitchen is well equipped with loads of extra bits you don't normally get in self catering. Will stay again!

Peaceful two weeks in wonderful rural property. House and grounds exceeded expectation and pool was ideal for our family group of 8. Nearby village of Dampierre was charming and plenty to do in surrounding area. House equipped with everything one could wish for and hosts had made sure that everything was incredibly well organised and every eventuality covered. Many thanks

We loved staying here. The children had an amazing time in the garden and we loved that it was a safe enclosed space for them. The pool- which was gated- was wonderful. It was peaceful and quaint. We enjoyed wandering down to the pretty sleepy village and exploring the chateau. Lots of nice places within reach in the car too - ile d’oleron was worth the drive and jean d’anglesy was a nice town. If visiting with children- there’s a playground in the village that we weren’t aware of until we took the recycling on the last day. It’s just behind the salle municipale!

We throughly enjoyed our week here. The house was beautiful. Loads of games to keep teens busy. Dart’s, ping pong table ,basket ball and of course the huge private pool. Grandma even made crumble from apples in the garden. Communication with owners was great but we didn’t need them as everything the wonderful. We had great local days out too. Local markets and sweet little French towns. Even managed bowling in Noirt on a rainy day. Would stay again.

Wonderful property in a really pretty and interesting village. The house worked well for 6 adults and 4 children age 12-14 years. Plenty of seating and we ate all our meals outside. We made good use of the pool and outdoor games, and the kids enjoyed DVDs and board games when they needed some down time out of the sun. Ile d’AIx and Ile Re both spectacular. And Roman remains at Saintes impressive and very unexpected. There’s so much to see and do. And we ate and drank, mainly from local markets, to excess. A very happy holiday! Thank you Tamara
