Beautiful family-friendly gite in rural France

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette belle propriété avec nos adolescents. La maison est très bien équipée et très agréable. Nous avons également particulièrement apprécié les équipements de loisirs mis à disposition. Jo, la personne qui s’occupe de l’entretien est très serviable et sympathique. Nous recommandons cette location.

A beautiful child friendly Gite in the Dordogne. Jonathan is a very friendly host although we didn't actually meet him, it was Jo the housekeeper who met us on our arrival, she was very friendly and welcoming and easy to contact throughout our stay when needed. The Gite itself is absolutely stunning. How lucky were we to find this amazing place. It is spacious, clean, modern and fully equipped although it lacks air conditioning which would have been appreciated with the heatwave we experienced during our stay. However the bedrooms each had fans and it didn't ruin our holiday. The swimming pool is fabulous, we swam every day and so are the gardens, tennis court, trampoline, table tennis etc, etc. The church bells nearby ring frequently, every hour to be exact day and night but it was actually quite nice and you quickly get used to them. The nearest shops are 10 mins drive away in the lovely village of Trie sul Baise. It's all situated in a very quiet rural area and if you are looking for a relaxing quiet family holiday this is definitely the place. We would highly recommend it. We were the only ones there to experience this truly amazing property, we definitely felt spoilt! A visit to the Velorail 40 mins drive away was great fun, the family loved it.

We had a wonderful week in Bernadets-Debat. The cottage is perfect for a family stay with children, thanks to all its facilities. We appreciated absolutely everything, the quality of the accommodation and the beauty of the park. Thank you to Anne for her warm welcome.

Fantastic Gîte in beautiful grounds. Recently renovated to a high standard. Has everything you could possibly need, including a great tennis court and large swimming pool with electric cover. Large bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Lots of seating areas inside and outside. Communication with owner was excellent. English speaking representative upon arrival and departure makes the process easy as well. Local town, Trie-sur-Baïse (10 min drive) has decent size supermarket and most other shops/bank etc. Excellent local roads for cycling if that’s your thing. Only downside was slow Wi-fi but that’s to be expected I guess in very rural France. There is decent 4G coverage though, so we made use of that! Definitely recommend this Gîte and will probably return in the future.

2nd time we’ve visited the Gite and continues to be a brilliant place with excellent facilities. Truest relaxing break. Anna is terrific and quickly comes back to you with any requests, we felt really well looked after.

Jonathan and Angela thank you for letting us stay at your fabulous Gite. We had a fantastic time with the pool right on the doorstep and all had great fun with the use of the tennis court. It was great cycling around the local countryside and also a good base to venture further into the Pyrennes. The Gite is extremely well equipped with everything that you need. Thankyou for a wonderful stay we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will hopefully be coming back at some stage to see you all again.
