Beautiful family residence on the lake route

Large property, ideal for family holiday as a base to explore the beautiful Jura. Host extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommend - you need a car to be based here.

Une grande maison dans un environnement champêtre qui permet de découvrir une belle région. Les enfants ont eu du plaisir à découvrir la richesse de la bibliothèque et les jouets. Une maison où il fait bon vivre avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin à disposition. L'espace a été fort apprécié par temps de pluie ! Merci à Paul tout était parfait.

After reading an article in Travel & Leisure magazine, we added the Jura Region to our trip to France from the US (Texas). While searching through VRBO listings, we came upon this home in Montcusel. The home is beautiful - bright, airy, spacious and very well equipped for toddlers with toys in the rooms, a large yard for running, and our child's favorite - legos. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Paul & Dominique were the most gracious of hosts - meeting us upon arrival, showing us around the property and providing ample literature about the area and things to do. While here, we hiked, swam, spent a day in Annecy (very beautiful) and relaxed. The views around the home are absolutely beautiful, the small towns are charming, and the hiking is wonderful (try the Herrison Cascades hike). We had a wonderful time and are hoping to return someday to explore the area even more.
