Beautiful French farmhouse and cottage with private heated pool sauna

This was our first time in the area although we have been in rural France many times. We were lucky being off season the other property was empty so we had the pool area to ourselves. Lizette is a wonderful host, on hand if you need something, but leaves you to it if want to relax. The weather was kind so we went walking every day, there are so many walks in easy reach. Coming back for a swim in the heated pool was fabulous. Our dog made firm friends with Poppy the resident Jack Russell and they spent ages playing together. We would definitely recommend staying here if it's a rural holiday you want.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Lizette est adorable et pleine d’attention. La maison est parfaite pour passer des vacances reposantes. Nous avons été conquis par toutes les activités mises à disposition pour occuper les enfants (et les adultes ;-)). La région est magnifique. On recommande +++

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour car nous y avons trouvé exactement ce que nous recherchions à savoir : - chaleur humaine - calme de la campagne - charme du logement - proximité avec des zones d’intérêt touristique Nous y retournerons en été pour en profiter d’avantage.

La propriété est très agréable et bien placée. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.

Lizette est une hôte très accueillante et qui donne de bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants. la région est magnifique, la piscine est vraiment très chouette!

A wonderful stay at Papillon. Not only were we blessed with good weather but we had the perfect location to explore the beautiful area. I great welcome from Lizette who was always on hand if needed and who gave us lots of recommendations for eating and visiting. We would definitely recommend this wonderful Dordogne getaway! The Clifford-Wilsons
