Beautiful Holiday Home with Courtyard in Appeville

The kitchen had what we needed for cooking meals. It was simple but functional, making it easy to save money while enjoying family time together. The space was bright and welcoming.

The east-facing terrace was lovely in the mornings.

Baie des Veys is a great base for exploring Normandy. The gîte was cozy, and we enjoyed family dinners on the terrace while watching the garden come alive with birds. It's close to both beaches and charming villages, so lots to see!

As a backpacker, this place offered great access to local spots without breaking the bank. The nearby trails were perfect for hiking and exploring nature at our own pace.

Our stay at the Beautiful Holiday Home was simply delightful! The living room was spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby landing beaches, We particularly enjoyed the terrace in the morning sun, sipping coffee while watching the storks in the garden, A lovely touch!

Het hoofdgebouw met aan de zijkant de vakantiewoning is van buiten een plaatje. De vakantiewoning is een oud gebouw. Het interieur is eenvoudig en ook oud. De magnetron, vaatwasser, oven, keuken en douche, het is allemaal oud en doet daardoor wat smoezelig aan. Echt vies is het niet maar goed gebruikt wel. Het huisje was zeker niet vies maar ook niet schoon. De bedden zijn hard en daar moet je van houden of tegen kunnen. Buiten beddengoed is verder geen service. Handdoeken moet je zelf meenemen en afval mag je zelf wegbrengen in het dorp. De eigenaar is vriendelijk en discreet. Verder ligt het erg afgelegen. Dat geeft veel rust maar tegelijk zijn restaurants en een winkeltje of bakker niet even aan te lopen. Wij hebben het verblijf gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan de bekende WWII stranden en dat was prima te doen.
