Amazing house, very well equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. The pool was warm, clean and a good size. Thd village is quiet but its a good location for exploring and plenty to do within a short drive. I highly recommend a boat trip on the canals.

Très bon séjour passé dans cette maison familiale, nous recommandons

We spent two weeks at La Retraite and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need and in fact is probably one of the best equipped kitchens of any holiday rental we have stayed in. The grounds are spacious and very secure (great for dogs). The pool area with decking is especially pleasant and we enjoyed many a day and evening in this area. The house is in a small village setting but is close to the amenities of Mauze a short drive away with a great bakery and well stocked supermarket. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay at La Retraite for those looking for a relaxing break in the La Rochelle area.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans le gîte la Retraite, espaces lumineux et spacieux. La piscine chauffée est un pur bonheur. Je recommande.
