Beautiful villa with pool for 10 people - Downtown Aix on foot

Villa de qualité en terme d'équipements extérieurs et intérieurs. Cuisine très bien équipée et moderne. Villa très propre. La description du bien correspondait tout à fait à l'annonce. Villa proche du centre ville tout en étant très au calme. A recommander.

This is a lovely villa, very spacious and with great facilities. The swimming pool is fabulous, and the two patio areas afford lots of space for people to get together or to have space to relax in peace. Inside the house there was plenty of room, and the small pool table was a great fun addition. The property was generally clean and had everything one would expect in a home. As it actually is the owner's primary residence there was a slight sense of living in a borrowed home - when I enquired about bedding/towels etc the response was that the owner would lend me hers - which indeed she did. This was fine, but do not expect pristine hotel quality. The owner and her family live in a studio apartment within the house, and can therefore be seen and heard around the place, leaving a slight sense of guilt that one's own children are sleeping in spacious bedrooms belonging to the children of the house who are sleeping in much smaller quarters watching the visitors using the pool etc. The owner was very helpful, giving a guided tour on arrival and maintaining the pool and garden throughout our stay. This could be seen as a great positive, but could also be seen as a little intrusive if privacy is an issue. The location of the property is great, with an easy walk into town. We had an enjoyable week and with attention to the previous points made would recommend this property.
