Beautiful villa with pool , panoramic veiws and peaceful environment

The villa was everything we could have dreamed of. We found ourselves spending the vast majority of our vacation just lounging about instead of going out just because we felt so at peace there. Penny was amazing; communicative and helpful with anything we needed. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you again for making our honeymoon as special as it could be.

The property details were spot on, it was exactly as described. Penny was a great host, quick to respond to questions. She gave us lots of tips on places to visit which we really appreciated. We loved the villa, it was very homely and the two cats were an added bonus. We sat out on the balcony a lot to enjoy the views and made good use of the pool. You definitely need a car here which was fine for us. It was only a 5 minute drive to get croissants in the morning!

The villa has magnificent views towards the Med, however could have benefitted from a professional cleaning service prior to our arrival. In over 20 years of using Villas from VRBO and similar, this is the first Villa we have rented which is clearly the owners home rather than a dedicated rental property. Although the description does reference 2 healthy independent cats, it's not uncommon to see cats at most resort villas, however you realise that you have signed up to being a cat sitter once Penny has given you the tour of the property. Dried food and water kept topped up along with a morning and an evening tinned food regime. We are not cat people but if you are, you'll no doubt feel at home. Also, be prepared to break out the watering can.....lots of pot plants inside and out that need regular watering. Something I do at home but again, didn't realise we signing up for the same on our holiday.Our main concern however was that once the final payment had been made a couple of weeks before the trip, Penny told us that she would be staying 'in the self contained studio alongside house for one night' as catching a flight the following day. This came across as a separate accommodation from the villa, however it became apparent that it was bedroom 3 which is in the villa. So our final gripe is that we did not sign upto a house share for the first day and night of our villa holiday. This spooked my wife and I was certainly not comfortable with the arrangement.

Our holiday in Penny´s house was wonderful. We had a warm welcome and everything in the house was perfect. We enjoyed especially the nice pool and the wonderful view from the balcony when starting into the day in the morning as well as in the evening. The place is wonderful for relaxing and for visiting the region. Looking forward to come back.

We loved our stay here. Penny was the perfect host. There was a very helpful book to guide us through the house and Penny was always responsive on text. The villa is a short drive from Grasse and a boulangerie is a few minutes drive, perfect for morning pastries. Sadly it was too cold to use the pool, but it was a charming infinity pool which would be amazing in the Summer. We would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time at Penny’s house! Everything was perfect - the view from the balcony, the clean and big pool and all the small lovely details in the house. Great thanks to Penny that it was not problem at all, that we arrived very late and checked out in the middle of the night. She is a very helpful and nice host. We‘d love to come back :)
