Beautifully Restored Farmhouse With Stunning Pool and HotTub. A great games room

This was our second time staying at The Mouse House and once again it did not disappoint. We had 3 generations of us staying at the house and there was plenty of space for all of us. It was very hot while we were there so the pool was perfect for cooling off. Check in was super simple with the key lock box. The house was really well equipped with everything we could need. Steve who check in in the pool was really helpful and gave us some great advise for places to visit. Another wonderful stay.

First time abroad for our two families who came together on holiday here and we loved this place. There was lots for the children to do. We managed to explore the area a little including Châlus and the Perigord-Limousin National park but we were also really happy to hang out by the pool all day too. Property was clean, communication with Andrea and the person who manages it was easy. We didn’t have any issues

Très belle propriété, au calme. Très bien équipée, pour la cuisine comme pour les loisirs. La grande piscine est vraiment très bien après une chaude journée. La suite parentale est superbe, avec son beau salon sur le balcon et une très belle salle de bain, mais très chaude (en sous-pente et au Sud): des stores seraient les bienvenus!

The property is as beautiful as the pictures show - outside space with pool and hot tub is great but the added bonus of the indoor games room for rainy days or cooler evenings is fantastic. Very quiet area so a perfect idyllic escape - we didn't feel the need to venture out much. A few minor maintenance issues but owner responded immediately and their "guy on the ground" was around straight away to sort it; superb communication and friendly host. Highly recommend and hope to return.

We enjoyed a fabulous week at this villa. Lovely location you feel away for it all but still within a short distance of the supermarket & restaurants. It’s the best equipped villa we’ve stayed. There was 5 of us staying and it provided everything we could wish for. We’ll definitely be returning.

We loved it here, we had 2 families of 4 sharing and there was still plenty of room. With the pool, hot tub and games room you have everything to keep the little ones (and adults) entertained. The added bonus is that it's located in a beautiful part of the world.

I was looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun and I got it. The house, the surroundings and the peace were perfect. La Maison de la Souris is very well equipped, well thought and beautifully decorated. Having stayed in many gites, they can be sometimes disappointing with the quality of the furniture and kitchen equipment but not in this house. It is obvious that the owners have taken care to make it a home from home. We hardly moved from the house as it had everything we were looking for. The adults were able to relax with good books only interrupted by dips in the pool and my teenage son had fun in the pool but also with the Xbox and pool/air hockey table as well as listening to his music (he never once said he was bored!). I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday in the most luxurious farmhouse in one of the most beautifully scenic parts of France I have ever visited. All our needs as a family with two children were thoughtfully catered for, from the pool to the hot tub to the air hockey table and even the Xbox - our children were spoilt. The farmhouse was stunning with everything you could ever need to make your stay like a home from home! The surrounding area was a delight with plenty to see and do (check out Espace Hermeline with it's inland beach, velo rail and 20 metre zip wire over the lake just 5 minutes away in Bussière-Galant). I can't recommend 'Le Maison de la Souris' enough and we will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you Andrea for making our holiday so perfect!
