😊: Central location so easy to wander the old town Nice accommodation - had everything you need for a short stay. 😢: There is not anything that we could have wanted differently.

😊: This beautiful apartment is perfectly located in the lovely Vieux Lille, in an intimate square lined with restaurants and bars. The streets in several directions are filled with all the offerings of city life. The window view is picturesque! We walked everywhere, including to and from the major sights, train/bus station, and the mall. The apartment itself is so pretty, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with plenty of room and light. It had everything we needed to feel at home, including a grocery store just steps away! We loved our stay!! It really contributed to our overall fantastic experience in Lille.. 😢: It is located right above a restaurant that turns into a nightclub on Tuesdays to Saturdays. Sunday and Monday nights were very quiet because it is closed. But on Tuesday, it did get very loud between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am (and until 2:00 am Thursday to Saturday). It wasn't really an issue for us, as we were out most nights ourselves, and if not, we wore earplugs. We are 2 adults who like nightlife. But if you are a family with young children or prefer an early, quiet evening in, this is something to consider. As well, there is a lot of street noise at night, being it's in the heart of vibrant life. We enjoyed this, but again, it's something you should know to expect. The only other thing was we had a very difficult time using the key. It sticks and takes some special jiggling "tricks". We finally got the hang of it, and everything was great!.
