Bel appartement lumineux, Croix-Rousse - Hôpitaux

😊: This appt. has an excellent location in the heart of the Croix-Rousse quarter, just next to the pedestrian entry stairway to the Hospital. Bus station (38 and C13), shared bicycle station and grocery (Carrefour) within 100m, metro underground station 8 min. walk. Restaurants are all around at every corners. The appt. is on the 3d floor, 67 stairs leading to the entry. No elevator. It is really nice, clean, 3 large windows facing to the east. The windows have shutters, but no curtains. The flat has been nicely renovated, the equipment meets the requirements. The images of the advertisement show the reality, I got what I expected. The appt. is very comfortable for 2, but large enough even for 4 people.. 😢: However I missed the AC very much since it was an unusual hot weather during my stay (34 degrees Celsius) and despite the fans in each rooms it was impossible to make the heat tolerable. During the night the rooms cooled down, but to sleep with an open window was sometimes difficult because of the noise coming from the street. The appt. was nice clean, but in hidden places (e.g. under the bed and behind the standing mirror) it was full of dust bunnies..

😊: The location was great! The appartement was bright and we enjoyed the view.. 😢: We did not realise that we had to pay a deposit of 300.- additionally to the rent price. It felt very stressful, as some things in the appartement were a little bit older or didn‘t work (dishwasher) and we were worried that something would be pinned on us. Which did not happen! We got the deposit back and everything worked out fine..
