Bel Appartement - Terrasse XXL

😊: The apartment is spacious and fairly quiet.. 😢: The checkin details were sent by email with a 15Mb link that would not download on our phones. This doc should be less than 2Mb! We spent about 30 minutes trying to get the link and without it could not find the keyboard. To start with the shrubbery has grown over the name of the apartment block and the google map has the apartment on the other side of the street so we spent ages in the street trying to locate the apartment! The keybox when found it is hidden in some shrubbery almost on the ground so once again a challenge! The apartment has no number on the door. All of these issues made it frustrating and time consuming and they could be easily fixed. I spoke to the property management office several times but as we still couldn't download the access doc it wasn't much help. The tiled floor in the apartment was sticky..obviously vacuumed but needed washing. We complained to the agent and sent photos of dirty socks to the agent. They offered to send the cleaners back but we were too exhausted and had unpacked our bags. We were only there 3 nights and did not want to be disturbed. The kitchen crockery was poor quality mismatched with some chips. There were only 2 wineglasses ..one huge and one small. This was not a cheap rental so one expects much better quality. The cleaning charge was 102 euros and we had a very dirty floor!.

😊: The outside space and the beds are comfortable plus nice smart TV and good kitchen. 😢: Nothing much we didnt like maybe some kitchen utensils could be added or upgraded.

😊: Parking included. A nice outdoor area. Air conditioning was very necessary, particularly at night. Secure apartment. Good kitchen. Otherwise fairly basic, but functional. Short walk into the old town of Vence..
