Belle maison ancienne avec vue sur le Mt Ventoux, proche de Bédoin

We were met at this beautifully renovated character gîte by Susanne and Frédéric who showed us their spectacular home and explained all we needed to know, including all about the village. The house is privately situated and very well equipped with every small detail covered. It is spacious, light and airy, and exceptionally clean, with amazing views over the valley and up to Mont Ventoux, everyday a different hue. There are some great restaurants and a wonderful Boulangerie, all within a 3 minute walk through the beautiful old stone village. The position is perfect for cycling, and is walking/hiking distance to several villages along tracks through the vineyards.We had 4 spectacular weeks and enjoyed the peaceful times and the exercise.Thanks again Suzanne and Frédéric for looking after us so well and for sharing your idyllic space with us. We plan on coming back!

Fantastique, merveilleux!The house is even nicer than showed in the pictures. Everything you need is there, and the hostess is very accommodating.

Ideal village location (Crillon le Brave has 2 hotels, excellent restaurant, bar/brasserie and boulangerie) close to a vibrant market town, Bedoin and commanding panoramic views in all directions, dominated by Mont Ventoux. Great centre for exploring Provence.

Peaceful and comfortable perfect for exploring the countryside. Crillon is a steep hilltop village dominated by an expensive hotel but there are splendid views and a reasonable bistro and excellent bakery as well as Clovis and Basina restaurant for fine dining. Bédoin is nearby for shopping and restaurants and the market on Mondays.

Very quiet and nice place with much space in the house, a yard outside and a parking space for the car. Everything was perfect. The housekeepers are very nice, friendly and helpful people. Thanks to them again! We also enjoyed the the village on top of the hill with a beautiful panorama.

Our stay at Frédéric and Suzanne’s place exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their warmth and generosity made our experience in Provence truly unforgettable. On one occasion, Frédéric even went out of his way (30 mins one way) first thing in the morning to assist me when my car wouldn't start. The accommodation itself was exceptional. Immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished, and boasting a picturesque view of the village and Mont Ventoux. The well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed to comfortably prepare meals. You can feel the level of care and attention to detail that’s been put into every detail of the house. We look forward to returning! Thank you, Frédéric and Suzanne, for an incredible stay!

A very comfortable and fully equipped Provençal house at the heart of this beautiful hilltop village with amazing views of the surrounding countryside and Mont Ventoux. The garden and terrace was surrounded by flowering laurels , the sound of cicadas and birds and was a calm and private retreat for us to eat out in under the parasol or relax on the chaises longues .The owners were charming and very attentive to our every needs. We definitely shall go back if we can!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen und sehr hochwertig ausgestatteten Ferienhaus genossen. Hervorzuheben sind die guten Betten und die große Küche mit allem was man benötigt. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, hilfsbereit und unglaublich freundlich. Ein kleines Problem wurde kreativ gelöst. Es war eine Freude Sie kennenzulernen! Das Haus liegt am Rande des wirklich ruhigen Dorfes und hat einen wunderschönen Blick. Das Leben vor Ort ist angenehm: der qualitativ hervorragende Bäcker ist einen pittoresken Spaziergang entfernt, das hübsche Restaurant am Platz macht einen guten Eindruck, auch wenn wir es nur auf einen Café besucht haben. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5 Autominuten. Herrliche Wanderungen kann man ab dem Haus starten oder die Highlights in der Umgebung erkunden. Es gibt auf jeden Fall mehr als genug zu entdecken - Natur, hübsche Dörfer, Märkte, Weingüter und natürlich Avignon.
