Belle maison au bord de l'eau

😊: Location. 😢: Was not very clean. Cooker was filthy in oven shelf put in incorrectly. Electric cable hanging out of walls and trailing across floor Numerous amounts of dubious bottles of condiments left in cupboard. Used bars of soap in bathrooms. Bed linens very crumpled. One bedroom covers were split. Front door would not open fully. Two or more light bulbs out. No instructions in English. No welcome pack or leaflets about area. Worst was the cooker was gas and the bottle ran out. Took ages to locate it and to change it had to dismantle the sink outlet fitting. It was as well we had menfolk with us. Kitchen was infested with ants. Broken tiles on steps to kitchen. Hole in bathroom wall behind shower fitting. Tried to contact owner with these concerns. He replied to First one concerning ants but not to the next three i sent. Freezer needed defrosting and fridge leaked. This all sounds awful but did not spoil our holiday. All minor things which could easily be addressed..
